Devon Country Club will be opening on Friday, June 5th
Time Well Wasted Since 1956
Tucked away on the scenic banks of the Fall Creek, just north of 46th street, sits Devon Country Club — a Shangri La of summer relaxation. Generations of families have called Devon their summer home since its inception in 1956. Many of your neighbors already take advantage of the varied recreational opportunities Devon offers including: a seven-lane heated lap pool; shaded baby pool; five tennis courts (three with lights); and two competition grade volleyball courts.
As with life, the best times at Devon are unscripted. On any given summer day, members will pack their coolers with lunch, dinner, and adult beverages for those over 21 and set up in the 1960s era pavilion to relax with friends. Untethered from iPads, televisions, or other electronics, Devon kids are free to invent new games, make friends from other schools, learn a new trick off the Devon high dive and develop into their best selves. Devon is currently accepting new members. Devon does not discriminate based on race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, tennis ability, or how you look in a bathing suit.
Devon Country Club opened under the guidance and vision of club founder Art Diebold with the support of over 500 families. For over 50 years, Devon has continuously offered affordable, quality family recreation in a beautiful outdoor setting.
The club includes:
- seven-lane lap pool
- dive area with high and low dive
- baby pool
- 5 outdoor tennis court (3 lighted)
- 2 sand volleyball courts
- retro-cool art deco arched pavilion and grills for dining
- snack bar (sodas, chips, candy and such)
The club’s swim team, the Devon Seahorses, successfully competes with several areas clubs in the Community Swim Conference. Devon also hosts several USTA tennis teams of all levels.

Devon is finally ready to help paying us easier! We have a Venmo account!
What does this mean for you? This account can be used for donations, punch cards, tshirts, membership, etc… When you send money you need to say what the money is for so we know we are applying it correctly. If you are using it for membership include an email address we can send the form that needs to be filled out back to you. Our goal, at least for a while, is to not be exchanging cash or cards for a while, so all transactions need to be done by Venmo or by check ahead of time.
It takes a lot of hard work, donated time, materials, and lots of effort by our members to get our pool up and running. We hope you will help us by joining us on our work days. You can come when you want and stay for as long as you wish. Any time you can give will be greatly appreciated on our end.
